About Debbi
Debbi is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Clinical Supervisor, with a MA in Education. Debbi has worked as a therapist, teacher, and coach for over 25 years. She has an uncanny ability to build rapport with diverse groups of people, facilitating productive sessions with individuals, couples, and families. Her specialties include anxiety, relationship issues, behavioral issues, ADHD, self-worth and parenting.
Fifteen years combined as a clinical and school counselor, Debbi is passionate about helping people identify their values and goals. Debbi is known locally for her empathy, unconditional positive regard and relentless energy. In her free time, Debbi enjoys being outside riding her bike or hiking, preferably with her husband or two daughters.
Her start as a camp counselor piqued her interest in working in the field of psychology and was instrumental in shaping her career path. In college, she minored in Outdoor Recreation Management and worked as an outdoor instructor with NOLS for a few years. Growing tired of the nomadic lifestyle, Debbi returned to school for her teaching endorsement and taught secondary mathematics for ten years. After a decade in the classroom, Debbi decided to get a Masters in Education (Counseling Emphasis) to work more intimately with people.
